Armed with little more than a Yamaha PM-1000 mixing board bought for $100 in a yard sale and once belonging to 1970s yacht rockers Captain and Tennille, ex-gymnast Alithea Tuttle and guitarist boyfriend Desi Scallion, plus two of their friends, have set sail on a shimmering, Smashing Pumpkins-indebted course. The Los Angeles band released their debut record Versions of You in 2023, and they’ve already got plenty more enticing new tracks in the bag.
