Muriel started off life as a handful of recordings made in the Cardiff bedroom of tattooist Zak Thomas: recordings which became fully-formed, fully-populated songs played by a group of people who came to be collectively known as Muriel. Classical guitar and layered vocals drive this introspective, cinematic slow-build music, along with lap steel, harmonium, and electric guitar: high-quality musical craftsmanship at its brightest.
