With a (newish) name that somehow gets to the nub of how it feels to be alive, Good Sad Happy Bad — formerly Micachu and the Shapes — continued that kind of precise yet unassuming nomenclature with fifth album All Kinds Of Days. The Mica Levi-fronted group are utterly egoless, operating with a whimsical DIY spirit: making simple, intimate songs about parenthood, housekeeping, healing, and grief, born out of improvised instrumental sessions.
