Two years after bursting onto Wales' music scene, wrestler's daughter, Tara Bandito and her band have just returned from playing LUCfest, Taiwan. Bandito released her first single, Blerr, with Côsh Records in January 2022, she's reached God is in the TV Zine top 10 list and was named as BBC 6 Music DJ Huw Stephens' 'artist of the week'. Bandito has since released seven singles, and in January 2023 released her debut self-titled album with lead track 'Croeso i Gymru' soon picked up by Craig Charles on BBC 6 Music.Before pursuing her career as a solo artist, Tara toured with Charlotte Church’s Late Night Pop Dungeon and trained in India as an ashtanga yoga teacher. These experiences have shaped a unique international artist, teaming up Welsh language, English and Sanskrit, sitar and harp, raw, autobiographical lyrics and thumping beats.
