Tamar and Jo are a dance and performance company based in Hull, working primarily in contemporary dance, incorporating elements of theatre, comedy, and commercial dance styles into their work. They produce community dance projects, deliver weekly dance classes and performance events, as well as creating duet work that we perform at events and festivals both locally and nationally. Their aim is to brighten up people’s lives through dance – whether that be through seeing one of their vibrantly costumed, uplifting performances, taking part in a project or attending a laid back class.
