Cerys Hafana “mangles, mutates, transforms” classic Welsh folk music with her deft mastery of the triple harp. The multi-instrumentalist, singer, and composer grew up in Machynlleth and released her second album, Edyf, in 2022: built from material found in the Welsh National Library’s online archive, it includes psalm fragments, doomsday hymns, and her original compositions — and electronically processed sounds of a water bottle being hit.
