Dinner is a sacred ritual for Blonde Redhead, the avant-rock band formed in 1993 in the New York City indie underground. Last year they released Sit Down For Dinner, their first album in nearly a decade, inspired by Joan Didion, Brazilian music, and Bach. The trio — Japanese singer and multi instrumentalist Kazu Makino, and Milan twins Simone and Amedeo Pace — are celebrating their 30th anniversary, as a band and as friends. Their live shows — as well as their evening meals — reflect that sense of warmth and camaraderie.
