Talking Shop line-up announcedPosted Thu 9 Jul. 2015

Plus Adam Buxton (and others) joins Last Laugh Comedy Stage.

We are delighted to unveil the line up of literary heavyweights and emerging talent for Green Man’s Talking Shop Literature Stage. There's something special in store for each of our 'babblers' at this year's Green Man!

Celebrating their long-awaited return to Green Man, Gruff and Guto from Super Furry Animals join Gwenno Saunders in conversation about the bands’ illustrious career. Pete Fowler and Ric Rawlins discuss ‘Monsterism’ and the world of the group’s artwork.

We are honoured to welcome Pride and the Miner’s Strike - a panel discussion with Sian James MP, Dawn Foster and Dr. Emma Jackson. The discussion will follow Saturday afternoon’s screening of ‘Pride’ in the Cinedrome.

The legendary Mark E. Smith joins us in conversation for this year’s ever popular MOJO Interview, in what promises to be a colourful exploration of The Fall overseer's unique worldview.

Elsewhere - Richard King discusses his new book ‘Original Rockers’ and one of Wales’ most individual voices Owen Sheers reads excerpts from his new novel ‘I Saw A Man’. Also joining us again for another round is the ever-popular Pop Quiz with Pete Paphides and Bob Stanley of Saint Etienne.

Also joining us are: Matt Sewell (Bird Spotting and Jotting), Croydon Till I Die (with Bob Stanley, Andy Miller and John Grindrod), Mick Houghton (The Biography of Sandy Denny with Jude Rogers), Wyndham Wallace (The World Of Lee Hazlewood), Andy Miller (The Year of Reading Dangerously), Steven Machat (Sacred Knowledge), Tom Cox, A.W. Wilde, Will Burns, Ghost Box DJs and Rob Chapman (Psychedelia And Other Colours).

There’s a few more things we’ve been BUGging to tell you… We are very happy to unveil the remaining acts for this year’s comedy tent and are over the moon to welcome back Green Man favourite Adam Buxton who will be performing a new stand-up routine for the festival.

Also joining the already monster line-up… Clint Edwards, David Kay, Marcel Lucont, Henry Paker, Gareth Brand, Charlie Webster, Jay Cowle, Frank Foucault, Patrick Turpin, Nell Frizzell, Grainne McGuire and Ted Shiress.
