Green Man

Green Man RisingPosted Thu 28 May. 2015

Do you want to play Green Man 2015? Green Man Rising is now open for applications.

Green Man Rising is a unique opportunity for artists to showcase their work to the most prestigious tastemakers, influencers, music blogs and music sites including Mojo, CMJ, SXSW, The 405, Crack In The Road and Goldflake Paint.

We listen to each band who submits their music to us and whittle down a shortlist of 20 semi-finalists. We ask each of our music blog and tastemakers partners to submit their top 6 acts from this shortlist - before inviting the top ranking 5 acts to perform at the Rising Final at the iconic music venue the Dublin Castle on the 1st of July in front of industry judges including Phil Alexander (Mojo), Molly O’Brien (Beggars Banquet Publishing), Michael McClatchey (Moshi Moshi), Claire Reilly (The Agency Group), Jack Shankly (Domino Records) and Green Man's very own Ben Coleman. The winner will open the exalted Mountain Stage at this year's Green Man on the same bill as Hot Chip, Super Furry Animals and St Vincent and perform in front of 10,000 people.

We are pleased to announce that rising is open for applications now.

Read about the application process online at the Green Man Rising page.

Please note that the deadline for applications is the 10th June 2015. There is no application fee to enter Green Man Rising.
